Doctors
Mt Hotham Medical Centre
Mount Hotham Medical Centre is located at 32 Great Alpine Road, Hotham Heights. You can find us, in the left hand corner of the Corral Day Carpark.

We provide medical service to the Hotham Alpine Resort during the winter months of June – October yearly.

During those months, we are open everyday, 10am - 5pm, and for urgent after-hours medical care we are available. No appointments are necessary as we operate on a walk-in basis due to the urgent nature of many of the injuries we see.

Outside of the winter season, please refer to Bright Medical Centre, located in Bright.
Please contact them on 03 5750 1000

Triage
Mt Hotham Medical Centre is a general practice with urgent care capability, meaning we have the facilities, skills and equipment available to undertake initial assessment of patients and initial treatment of any presentation. Patients who present to our clinic, either with a booked appointment with the doctor, or by ski patrol, are assessed quickly to determine priority and urgency of medical assessment and treatment. This process is called triage, and is standardised in all emergency departments and urgent care facilities through the Australasian Triage Scale (ATS).
Our staff are trained, experienced and skilled at making this triage assessment with the unpredictability of accidents, medical events and deterioration.
Due to the unpredictable nature of injuries, there may be periods of time where you will have to wait. Please be patient, our staff are more than happy to accommodate waiting times as best we can.
